The Movement’s Architecture
Reformer Factory is a Pilates Reformer studio designed as a space for bodywork. It is a structured, precise environment where every detail supports movement and progress.
A space designed for movement
Here, space is not merely a backdrop. It is a structure. Volumes, light, circulation, and the placement of equipment. Every choice supports alignment, precision, and the quality of movement. The studio becomes a tool at the service of the body, through a rigorous and sustainable approach.

The movement is structural.
At Reformer Factory, movement is fundamental. Every session is designed to build strength, balance, and continuity. We don’t seek immediate results, but rather a physical structure that develops over time.

A moment to slow down
After the class, the atmosphere shifts: the studio opens up into a lounge area reserved for students.
It’s a place to unwind, take a moment for yourself, or stay a little longer—alone or with others.
Here, you can chat, breathe deeply, and relax.
Carefully selected beverages: water, coffee, matcha, tea, juice, kombucha…
Served with a few healthy, balanced treats, designed to extend this moment with a light touch.

The Founder's Vision
Reformer Factory was born from a journey, a city, and a vision of movement.
For four years, Béatrice lived in Manhattan, New York.
A raw, demanding, vibrant city.
A city where the architecture commands respect and where nothing is left to chance.
It was there that Béatrice trained in Pilates, earning her certifications in Reformer, Cadillac, Wunda Chair, and mat Pilates.
New York is also the birthplace of Pilates, where Joseph Pilates developed his method and opened his first studio. A legacy that continues to influence Béatrice’s practice today
New York taught her rigor, precision, and a sense of structure, both in the body and in movement.
Reformer Factory is the embodiment of this experience.
A studio designed like a workshop, inspired by New York lofts, where Pilates is not a fad but a deep, foundational practice.
Here, we do not seek to transform bodies quickly.
We build them intelligently, sustainably, with rigor and respect.
Each session is an exploration of posture, alignment, and fluidity.
Every movement has meaning.
Every body becomes architecture in motion.

Frequently Asked Questions About the Pilates Reformer
Is the Pilates Reformer suitable for beginners?
Yes, absolutely.
Pilates Reformer is a very progressive method, so even if you’ve never exercised before or are just getting back into it, you’ve come to the right place.
Each exercise can be adapted to your level, and our instructors will guide you step by step.
We take the time to understand the movements, ensure proper form, and, above all, respect your body.
👉 The goal isn’t to perform, but to do it right.
What is the difference between Pilates Reformer and mat Pilates?
Mat Pilates is practiced using only your body weight, on a mat.
Reformer Pilates, on the other hand, is practiced on a machine equipped with springs. These springs can either assist the movement or provide resistance.
In practice, this allows for:
• more precise work
• greater control over movements
• and often a better sense of body awareness
Many people find the Reformer more accessible… and also more effective, since everything is guided.
How many Pilates Reformer sessions per week are advised?
Ideally, 2 to 3 sessions a week will help you see real results.
But even if you come once a week, that’s still great—you’ll feel the benefits.
What really matters is consistency.
It’s better to practice gently and consistently than to push yourself too hard and not be able to keep it up over time.
Is the Pilates Reformer suitable for people with pain or injuries?
Yes, and that’s often one of the reasons people start in the first place.
The exercises are gentle, precise, and, above all, adaptable. We can easily tailor the exercises to your needs.
Pilates helps build deep core strength, improve posture, and relieve tension, especially in the back.
👉 The key is to always let us know about any pain or injuries so we can adjust the session accordingly.
Do you need to be in good shape to do Pilates Reformer?
No, none at all.
Pilates Reformer is for everyone, regardless of your skill level or physical condition.
Whether you’re a beginner, an athlete, or just getting back into exercise, the exercises are tailored to you.
We move at your own pace, with no pressure.
What should I wear to a Pilates Reformer class?
Ideally, wear comfortable clothing that fits snugly.
This makes it easier to see your movements and correct your form if necessary.
In general:
• tight-fitting leggings or shorts
• a form-fitting top
• non-slip socks
Nothing complicated—just something that lets you move comfortably.
When can you start to feel the first benefits of Pilates Reformer?
Often, you can feel a difference right from the first few sessions: your body feels more toned, and your posture improves slightly.
Then, with regular practice:
• after a few sessions, you gain strength and control
• after a few weeks, your body really changes
As Joseph Pilates said:
“In 10 sessions you will feel the difference, in 20 you will see the difference, in 30 you will have a completely transformed body.”
Can the Pilates Reformer help you get a flat tummy?
Yes, but not in a “magical” or superficial way.
Pilates Reformer works deeply, particularly on the core muscles (the deep abdominal muscles). This is what truly tones the abdominal muscles and helps you achieve a flatter, firmer stomach.
With regular practice, you’ll feel your stomach become more toned, your waistline become more defined, and your figure become more harmonious.
It’s a long-term process that benefits both your appearance and your posture.
Does Pilates Reformer improve posture?
Yes, and often as early as the first few sessions.
Many people come in with slightly hunched shoulders, tension in their backs, or a tired posture. The Pilates Reformer helps reconnect the body, strengthen the muscles that support the spine, and straighten up naturally.
Little by little, you stand better… without even thinking about it.
And it really changes the way you move, but also the way you feel on a daily basis.
Can the Pilates Reformer help relieve back pain?
Yes, that’s actually one of the reasons why many people start.
The work is gentle, precise, and, above all, tailored to the individual. We strengthen what needs strengthening, release tension, and restore stability to the back.
With regular practice, many people experience a real improvement, or even the disappearance of their pain.
Of course, in the case of a specific issue, we always adapt the session—that’s essential.
Does the Pilates Reformer help sculpt the body?
Yes, but in a way that’s quite different from traditional fitness.
The goal isn’t to “push” yourself or build bulk, but rather to lengthen, tone, and rebalance the body.
The result: a slimmer, more toned, and more harmonious figure.
This is often what people are looking for when they want to feel good about their bodies without resorting to something too intense or aggressive.
Is Pilates Reformer effective for stress relief?
Yes, very much so.
A Pilates session is also a moment for yourself. You focus on your breathing, your sensations, and your movements.
It allows you to truly disconnect from the hustle and bustle of daily life, release tension, and find a sense of calm.
You often leave a session feeling both relaxed… and re-energized.
Can Pilates Reformer complement other physical activities?
Yes, and it’s actually an excellent additional workout.
Whether you’re into golf, running, or weight training, Pilates offers something different: greater control, increased flexibility, and improved stability.
It not only helps you make progress but also helps you avoid injuries.
It’s a truly “smart” way to work out.
Is the Pilates Reformer also good for men?
Yes, absolutely, and things are really changing.
Pilates was created by Joseph Pilates, and originally, it was practiced by men, particularly athletes.
Even today, it’s a particularly beneficial method for men, especially those who lack flexibility or tend to be a bit “stiff.”
The Pilates Reformer helps improve flexibility, build deep strength, and balance the body.
More and more men are coming specifically for that: to feel better in their bodies, move without pain, and improve their performance without getting injured.
